The 3^rd Infantry Division Help Desk application is another good example of "Next Generation" rich web interfaces. Features include Drag-n-Drop functionality, full featured right click context menus, application theme skinning, and no post backs due to extensive use of AJAX architecture. Website is developed on a MS SQL Server 2005 back end, C# .NET 2.0 framework, and cross-browser functionality.

Microsoft .NET 2.0/AJAX/MSSQL Server 2005/Active Directory 2003 Website in development. 

3^rd Infantry Division needed a solution to interface with Active Directory. One of the issues was users having the ability to update their data. Of course, without domain admin rights, this would not occur. We came up with an ingenious solution. Build a sync engine that will mesh Active Directory and MS SQL Server together. This way users can instantly update data and see it real time (stored in the MS SQL Database), while a request is sent to AD administrators Help Desk application to perform the Active Directory update. When the update is completed, the application will pull from AD instead of MS SQL Server. To the end user, the process is invisible. Another great feature is the ability to extend Active Directory attributes by adding additional attributes to the MS SQL Server database, then use the custom sync engine to sort out the data. This is a great example of "Next Generation" web interfaces. We used extensive use of AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript and XML) giving the end user a very responsive and powerful interface. 3^rd Infantry Division had a need for non-classified mapping technology. We were happy to help. Built on an MS SQL Server database, .NET 2 framework coded in C#, and extensive use of Javascript and XML we were able to develop a cutting edge mapping solution that proved more than they could ever dream it to be. A major problem on post is mapping a particular building to an address just did not work. There are just too many buildings and offices in each building. Once again we used our "can do" attitude to come up with a great solution. We developed a very slick admin interface that gives the administrator the ability to simply click on a building, or point of interest, plotting that point (latitude/longitude) on the map. We then stored the coordinates in the database along with other relevant information. After a few weeks, over 300 locations were marked in the database offering a powerful solution to Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield end users. Now end users could find say a skeet range, which would never be available on any other map solution. A few powerful features are:

• Map buildings based on latitude/longitude, not by address
• Search by building numbers, descriptions, address, phone numbers, etc.
• Map results shown in "Birds Eye View"
• View "Real-Time" traffic conditions (Actual roads are mapped as blocked with information)
• View "Real-Time" events on post
• Get driving directions from one location to another
• Ability to email locations and driving directions with your actual results to anyone

Content Management System/Microsoft .NET 2.0/MSSQL Server 2005/ New Website Design in Development. 

Politically-e needed a complete overhaul of the old ASP 3.0 public portion of the website. We decided to build the new public website on top of a our content management system. Most notable features are the ability to update content in real-time without knowing HTML, Email marketing system, and logging of website statistics for website metrics. The architecture is also very compatible with new search engine technology.

Microsoft .NET 2.0/ASP 3.0/MSSQL 2K/AJAX/COM+ Website upgrades in development.

Politically-e needed to update it's old disclosure system to reflect the new GA State Law E-Filing requirements set forth in 2006. This was no easy task as practically everything changed. We followed strict GA State Ethics Commission e-filing requirements to implement a very powerful, but easy to use on line disclosure filing system. The system is built on an existing MS SQL Server 2000 database, ASP 3.0, VB.NET, AJAX, XML, SOAP Toolkit, and third party adobe PDF component for PDF content merging. Some powerful features include:

• Error detection and correction routines and alerts
• Automatic creation of Adobe PDF hard copies
•  Real-Time notification of E-File response from GA State Ethics Commission Servers
  • Built on XML specifications
  • Sent and received using SOAP Protocol
  • Error information parsed and linked to direct contribution/expenditure records.
• Amendments automatically selected based on filing history
